Guests: no saved checkup records
When you use the site without signing in, your selected tools, statuses, opening times and optional results exist only in this page’s memory. We do not save a guest checkup to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies or our database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the temporary progress. Normal navigation within the app can retain it while the page remains open.
We remove the old browser-local record key subscription-checkup:v1 when the updated app opens; we do not read or automatically import earlier browser records. A report you download, copy or print is under your control and remains outside the site until you delete it yourself.
Accounts: save only when you choose
Sign-in is optional and uses a one-time code sent to your email through Neon’s managed Better Auth service. We store your email and authentication/session information with Neon. Necessary authentication cookies keep you signed in. This does not give us access to your inbox or third-party provider accounts.
When you sign in, your current temporary checklist is combined with your saved checkup. We save the tool identifiers, selected plan statuses, payment channels, latest official-page opening time, optional result and its update time, your manual verification time, and record update time. There is one latest record per tool, not a detailed browsing-history timeline. Blank results are allowed.
Opening a provider’s page records that you opened it. It is not evidence of checking a plan, paying for it, or completing cancellation. Results and verification are explicit statements by you.
Control and deletion
Use Clear all data to clear your current checklist and, if signed in, its saved version. Use My account to sign out or delete your login account and saved records. Signing out clears this page’s displayed records; it does not delete your account. Downloaded reports must be removed separately. If saving fails, the interface tells you; export a copy or retry before leaving.
Saved records are retained until you clear them or delete the account. Managed database backups may retain deleted data until their configured retention window expires. Correspondence can be retained as needed for support and correction records; contact us about its deletion.
No financial or provider-account connections
We do not connect to bank accounts, inboxes, browser history, or the services whose subscriptions you review. We do not ask for their passwords, payment card information or financial statements. Official billing and help links open external websites with their own privacy practices; we do not receive their account information or cancellation outcome.
Hosting, security logs and optional analytics
Vercel hosts the website and Neon hosts the account/authentication database. Their infrastructure processes request information such as IP address, browser information, URL and timestamps to serve and protect the service. “No saved guest checkup” does not mean a visit has no network traffic or infrastructure access logs. Authentication requests can also be subject to provider security and rate-limit logs. Our login rate limiter keeps short-lived keyed hashes of an email or network address and attempt counters, rather than raw addresses. These counters expire within 30 minutes and are cleared on subsequent authentication traffic.
Optional Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics can measure visits from both guests and signed-in users after you allow analytics. Before that choice, or after rejection, we do not load their analytics scripts. Use “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the page to change your choice. We remember only that preference for up to 180 days in browser storage; it contains no checkup records. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits after you allow it.
Analytics measures page views, traffic sources, browser/device categories and aggregate product events, such as starting a checkup or exporting a report. We do not send email addresses, user IDs, verification codes, selected tool names or report contents as event properties. Page-view URLs and referrers omit query strings and fragments. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep analytics off. Rejecting analytics does not prevent using the site or signing in. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics; previously collected provider data is not automatically erased.
